Ch. 1 "The Boy and the Weeping Girl"

Off in the distance
Set at a far
A girl on the cliff
Starring at the stars

As a boy approached
And took his place
As he sat down
He saw tears upon her face

The boy speaks up
Why are you crying
What is wrong
Why aren't you smiling

She lowers her head
You ask whats wrong
I've had no friends
My whole life long

He looks at her face
And wipes the tears from her eyes
Holds her close
And simply replies

I cant stand...
Stand seeing you cry like this
Don't worry
I'll be your friend miss

The girl stops crying
What she heard
She can't believe
Those kind words

Its a lie
It must be
So why
Must you lie to me

I tell you this
Cause it is true
I want to be your friend
Yes i really do

You say its true
You say it so
But i can't...
Can't believe it though

The boy asks
He asks why not
Its the truth
A lie it is not

Is that so
Is that true
Well then
I'm thankful to you

The boy smiled
Its getting late
Lets meet here tomorrow
"That would be great"

So they left
They went home
Both their parents asked
To where did they roam

They both said
They said to a cliff
Where I maid a friend
In which i hung with
