Clearing Clouds

Clearing Clouds

High up here I watch the sea
The wind it blows like a gale past me
The sea is crashing against the shore
But its peace and quiet
What more could I ask for
Time to think be on my own
I' d rather stay here than have to go home
To get in a boat and sail out to sea
On my own I' d be set free

This is a great poem, Dawn. It conveys a whole lot of feeling in minimal words - a very tricky thing to master.

I'd love to go over it line by line and offer you some suggestions if you don't mind. I can send them to you in private message.

    Let me know.

Hope you enjoy your stay here, and I can't wait to see more of your poems!
