I Cry Inside

by x Mo x   Sep 15, 2007

Tear me apart,
Rip me to shreds.
But don't expect me
To let my tears shed.

Outside I maintain
A certain level of joy.
My tears aren't to be seen
Like a foolish water toy.

I don't cry for show.
Outside remains dry.
Inside is different.
Inside is where I cry.

I let my heart bleed.
I let my soul cry.
My thoughts a drift
As I mentally die.

Inside I get sick,
As my system downs.
But I will not cry outside
And get treated like a clown.

Inside I am weak
And can't hold it in.
I let my tears fall,
Not without, but within.

Within my being
Is an endless well
Where my tears fall
But no one can tell.
