Vacant Emotion

by Shauna   Sep 15, 2007

The darkness is fallen upon thee,
Can ye not see?
Can yet not hear?

What if blossoms grew in winter?
Then will you see me fade?
Then will you feel me perish?

This house is empty and silent.
No roses blooming in beauty,
No child wrapped in gold.

Shall I sing to thee--
Sing thy painful memories?
Sing thy loneliness beyond death?

Days go by in a glimpse of a blur.
Look out from thy window,
See the season yet change?

Note:
This poem is metaphorical..
If it is complicated to understand, message me and I will explain.
