Yelling and screaming
She runs to her room
Collapsed on the bed
She finally decides
She can't take anymore
She runs to the window
Her feet dangling out
She takes a deep breath
Before the plunge
But her head is spinning
She can't make the jump
She falls to the floor
And covers her eyes
Reaches for the blade
And again starts to cry
She holds the blade down
But can't pull it back
She knows the blood will mix with her tears
But in the morning light
They'll still be here
So she throws the blade down
And runs downstairs
Out the door
She hops on her bike
And rides away
For two whole hours she turns the pedals
Never looking back
She pushes on
The tears are streaming down her face
Blocking out her vision
But finally she turns around
Home again she crawls into her
And closes her eyes
As sleep pulls her from the pain
