Silent Chaos

by Twisted Heart   Sep 16, 2007

In the absence of light, a silence grows
Among the shadows, cast below
Inside the pain a teardrop falls
Upon the mind it is recalled.

Against the pitch a silent break
No sound to form no tune forsake
As whispered winds begin to breathe
A slumber moan of sanity.

Up from the depths of winter's chill
A clash of cold is silent... still
To hamper voice it's rightful place
The quiet song begins to rage.

From bowels of death upon the ear
No words to speak no sound to hear
As chaos crashes down to earth
And lends its armor without words.

The mighty sound of silence lies
Against the heart and soul abide
Now rests upon the stars to send
A silent whisper from within.

This is an amazing piece of work. It flowed so smoothly, and it was so full of feeling. Goose bumps raised upon my arms as I read it. The rhythm is perfect, the words beautiful. I enjoyed reading this.

The imagery in this piece stood out so much it nearly screamed. Your flow is also another thing that I really admire in all of your poems, it has such a flawless rhythm...makes it that much easier to read and to enjoy.
