Glass Love

by Ashley Lynch   Sep 16, 2007

I give you my heart.
Take care of it though.
If you let it fall
it will shatter.
That's the problem
with having a glass heart.
I let you touch me.
Be careful don't press
to hard upon my skin.
If you do I might chip.
That's the problem
with having glass skin.
I let myself love you.
Yet you turned your back on me.
Still I loved you
until you loved them.
My love for you faded away.
It shattered.
