My baby

Sometimes I feel
as if I don't have a life
but that can't be true
I know that's not right...

I have his life

he's my everything, my world
the reason that I wake
I just wish I could put myself together
at least for his sake

he's the only thing I'm sure of
he's the reason that I breathe
and he depends on me...
I'm the one he needs

when I look at him,
when I hold him in my arms
I know I would never let
anyone do him harm

and anyone that tries...
I can't imagine what I'd do
this feeling's very powerful
but he's my weakness too

for him I'd give up everything
I actually kinda already did.
and no this poem wasn't about a guy...
it was about my kid
