A Child Sings

by sara   Sep 16, 2007

I climb atop a sturdy tower,
I step inside with gifts to shower,
This child with the urge to sing,
The sweetest song to ever ring.

I leap right through the open window,
Float to earth with movements nimble.
A cry for help was never heard,
The time had past to conquer her.

The after life is dark and grim,
The sinners savior's gone to swim.
In lakes the bluest water holds,
From there he ruptures 'neath the folds.

An audience I cannot gain,
My life is spent, what's left is shame.
Still distant views bring figures merry,
Those who's lives were quite contrary.

I will at last concede my being,
A soul is lost all hope is fleeing.
A lovely voice a child sings,
At top his voice of freedom sings.

If ears could reach into the past,
Would that I'd replay the moments last.
To know that short elated flight,
Would breed this never ending night.

For a beginner, as you say you are.. You're very good at this.

You had good depth, good image, good form, and good rhyme. The key things I look for. Your metaphor and reasoning was very good. You have a real knack for this. Keep it up.

The depth with this one, is amazing.
I was hesitant on reading it,
simply because I read one of your others..
But, I wont be hesitant any longer.
This poem was done very well, good work.

The idea or the sound on your expressions seems to be quite charming. tt's always my pleasure to read line by line carefully on all what you try to narrate. itt might take minutes to get its real emotion,. your expressions and its wave is a charismatic one. 'GOOD' Feel better and write more, inform me of any new, and I will take interest deeply without any hesitations dear.
