December Dreams

by Richard Machado   Sep 16, 2007

In this lonely winter
The leaves have long been dropped,
Swept away by the winds,
Forgotten by your heart.
Forgotten, how the leaves lit you,

Forgotten how the leaves would shield
The winds that whip you.
The life in the green, no longer seen.
The love that was, now is
Only a December Dream.
