The 4th floor

by QuietStorm   Sep 16, 2007

This is a place that's dear to me
I hold it close at heart.
for this is the place I met her at,
I loved her right from the start.

Our eyes they met
the stare was kept,
our souls had joined as one.
We walked in the park
the day she said yes,
together beneath the sun.

As days turned to weeks,
and weeks to years.
We fell deeper and deeper in love.
Through, blood, sweat and tears.
We lasted some years.
Our love a gift from above.

We stuck and we stayed
we laughed and we played
together yes she and I.
I miss her so much
I've longed for her touch,
I'll see her again someday.

Into a ball of love we'd go,
together yes she and I.
Damn why'd she leave,
her love I must grieve
I thought for sure I would die.

The earth must of shook
the day that God took,
my beautiful Tonya away.
But oh how I know
that nothings forever,
I'll see her again one day.

So thank God for the 4th floor
where our love first began,
her love I truly adored.

I'll forever miss,
her tender kiss
my love, our life,
my best friend.
