O how great it could have been
and what a wonderful nation
this is how it could have been
if Eve never gave into temptation
and if Eve did eat the apple first
did Adam really have to follow along?
maybe it wouldn't have made a difference
but then again...maybe we would be in heaven where we belong
God I'm not complaining
but what my weary past has shown
maybe everyone's lives would have been a whole lot better
if Eve left the f*c*i*g apple alone!
*this is just a silly lil poem because I actually don't even believe the bible stories
