Gratitude

I hope I add up to what you expect me to be
and I'll try my hardest just watch and you'll see
you expect so much and I understand
Because I never gave thanks and always asked for a helping hand
I look up to you and that's no lie
since I was young and till the day that I die
I never had to stop moving forward to see if you were behind
because regardless where I looked it was you that I would find
I don't know what I would do if you were never around
You were the one who taught me to stand my ground
We're older now and we're still as close as ever
nobody could seperate us not even if they tried never..
Basically I love you for the precious moments you've given its been a bliss
It brings a tear to my eyes just writing this
and I already know you think the same
but you keep to yourself and I don't blame
