The death of this poet

by stuart s   Sep 17, 2007

The death of this poet
So sweet the sacrifice
The knife inside his heart
The blood poring from his chest
The feeling of sorrow
Riddling this poets mind
Attacking his conscience
Destroying his self esteem

These are what I'm feeling now
This very second I'm dead
My heart, my mind, my soul
Everything is dead everything that makes me whole
Because of her, the one i thought i loved
She left me to suffer
With the torment in my thoughts
Torture, the images of death

Now because of you
I've lost my will to live
Why lie to me like that
Why pretend we had a chance
I hate everything about you
But why do i love you
Is it your looks, eyes
Or is it deeper than that

My whole world fades
But then i find another place
My whole dreams come
Crashing down
So the death of this poet
Is drawing forever nearer
Will anybody miss this man
Or will they forget it all

    Hi Stuart,

It's interesting to read in this poem that hate and love are such opposite emotions, but in the end they kind of blend into eachother.
I liked how you did that.
Also thank you very much for your comment.

    Take care,

    angelique
