You Know It

by Jamin Huchingson   Sep 17, 2007

You know it, when it hits you like a train
You feel it, like the sun light
After a heavy rain
Your perfection is
A stimulus to my brain

And as I look into your green eyes
I melt, its some unknown power
I've never felt

I knew it when I saw you
To scared to advance
Hoping you'd notice me
Tryin' to catch a glance
Of your beauty and brilliance

You feel it when it rumbles, like
In the mist of an earthquake
The heart begins to beat
And my soul shakes
My body powerless to
What my eyes intake

You know it, when it hits you like a train
You feel it, like the sun light
After a heavy rain
Your perfection is
A stimulus to my brain

And as I look into your green eyes
I melt, its some unknown power
I've never felt

It's just something about your aura
A radiation exploding off your skin
To scared to talk and confused
On how to begin

And as I look into your green eyes
I melt, its some unknown power
I've never felt

The poem has great promise....but i felt you let the rhyming rule your content, and in the first stanza you ryhmed perfectly but in the third you missed a couple of rhymes.... good work and keep writing!
