Another Morning

by Taylor   Sep 18, 2007

Another morning sleeps in my bed.
a velvety sleep took a soft turn to hazy,
And when the sun slips through the curtains,
I stretch my fingers toward the starry ceiling.

Thinking of you in the morning time,
a yawn and a sigh mixes in the warm air.
I hear the edge of night tiptoe out my door,
and taste the whispers of our last kiss.

Don't wake me, world;
please don't wake me.
