Forgiving her once more

by cowgirlstar26   Sep 18, 2007

Really cliche its nothing special but hey it flows OK I think

She lingered in the darkness
reaching for anything to grasp
her clenched fists held only air
"why am I here again?" she askes

the air was thick and chilled
as she wandered through the room
fearing nothing but herself
the night had brought its doom

thoughts of him came
entangled in her mind
her heavy heart fell
it was all the same tonight

she came to a window
finding the smallest bit of hope
staring out into the world
knowing she was truly alone

no arms could hold
no heart could heal
nothing to take the place
her lost love so real

the light shone in
blinding her dull Grey eyes
when she looked up
he was there, staring inside

those eyes told a story
of a life torn apart
her own wrong doings dwell ed
deep within her heart

but he didn't care
forgiving her once more
she'd done nothing to deserve it
when everything had shut its doors

she had his love
he stayed with her forever
shielding everything away
till their lives were over
