Fairytales........

Whatever happened to that magical moment,
When the prince sweeps me off my feet?
Where are all the fancy balls,
And that stunning dress and glass slippers?

I am in a very deep slumber,
Where is the kiss that will wake me?
Whatever happened to that prince charming,
That takes me away on his white horse?

Why are we told to believe these stories,
When they are nothing but unbearable lies.
Now because of them,
There are so many things missing in my life.
And it all happened for believing fantasy tales,
That never even existed.

So whatever did happen to that happy ever after!?
