Have you ever seen a butterfly pass you by?
Have you ever noticed me walk by and sigh?

Sometimes i feel like i don't exist,
or like I've faded away into mist.

You know how close you are to my heart,
but by each passing day we seem to grow more farther apart.

In my dreams you hold me right,
and the only way you could hurt me was by holding too tight...

Over the years you have shown that you can not feel,
that you can not love,
so i watch you in tears as my love for you slowly disappears.....

    This is beautiful yet sad. It's not nice not to be loved back but as you wrote the ove you have for the person that won't/can't love you back slowly starts to disappear. Well writen, 5/5. Em
