Happiness works

by Libby Vella   Sep 18, 2007

We laughed in the good times and cried in the bad times
We remained friends through fights
And we never told each other how much we wanted to cry
We smiled happily never caring what goes on at night

Behind closer doors there where some fights
but we always let them go
I never let them grow to big
And you never let them people know

You ask for money and I help out
Until I disagreed
Then you always found a way to make me feel so bad
I tried to hide discomfort but it just made me sad

Your happiness never worked
It made everyone mad
I always was there for you
But you blew me off and that was bad

Now we’re fighting and you are crying
Should I really care?
All you did to me was ask for money is that why I was there
Should I tell the truth or should I be your friend

I never wanted to you to cry
I just wanted the truth
But all I got was lies
Tell me one thing now

At the end of the day to you ever think about us?
