You make my heart race,
make me want to dance.
Make me want to run and skip,
you're the one who holds my hand.
You make me want to sing,
sing so loud and strong.
You make me believe in hope again,
for me, you can do no wrong.
You make the light come on again,
bring so much happiness to me.
You make me feel so beautiful,
I hope all this you see.
You can make the pain go away,
with just a simple smile.
You always say the funnest things,
and I love you all the while.
You make me want to try,
try to be happy again.
You're the person that I love,
and my very best friend.
You're the boy I can always talk to,
the one who really understands.
Make the "island of despair" disappear,
with just a brush of your hand.
You make me want to tell you,
all my hopes and dreams and fears.
And I'm just glad your always there,
to sit and lend an ear.
Now, at the end of this poem,
I hope you truly see.
That even though we both mess up,
you are all of this and so much more to me!
