It was late that night
We were starting to the sky upon things way past our sight
Laying on the trampoline, your body touching mine
Everything in my life seemed to be going fine
We lay there looking at the stars
Claming which one was “ours”
We found one to the right of the tree
As it gets colder you lay closer to me
I keep you warm and hold you close
It’s with you now that I want you most
We are just friends and you don’t know I’m bi
But I love you being here my by side
You’re pretty little face and your beautiful eyes
You’re love and caring goes past that of any guys
You’re the cutest girl I’ve gotten to know
And my true feelings for you I wish I could show
But we lay there cuddling
I hold you in my arms and keep you close,
Staring at the stars with this beautiful girl of 14, I love this most
You turn to me and say “I feel safe in your arms, like I could stay her forever”
I turn and smile and I say “I’ll always protect you; it’s our friendship I treasure”
You smile and look to our star
You say in a whisper, “I wonder how far away they are?”
I respond “it don’t matter I’m right here, closer than that star will ever be”
And to my surprise you turn and get close; you can see the love in my eyes
You look at me and I look into your eyes, and for you my heart cries
You give me this look and come in closer, your face close to mine
I look straight into your eyes, you say “I can see you like me, look at you all gogglie eyed, and holding me close holding my hand and cuddling me, well that’s just fine.”
You softly kiss my lips, and touch my face.
With this my heart begins to race
You look back to me and I say “but I thought you weren’t bi or gay?”
She said “Well I’ve never felt more in love and safe with any person like I have with you a girl today”
You pause for just a second while I still have you in my arms.
“And when I kissed you I felt no regrets, none at all, it was more passionate than I thought, I really think I like you, and maybe I’ll give this a try”
I smile and say “ I like you, your beautiful and your personality blows me away”
And with those words, we look at the stars and on that tramp, we continue to lay
I hold you closer and tighter than ever before, I say “I love you”
You reply “well I love you more”
I kiss your forehead and cuddle you close,
It was on that night under the stars, that I found the girl that I love most.
