The painter....

A very nicely written poem. the flow was intensely flawless and your choice of words were simply beautiful. you really captured some deep emotion in this piece.

"pressing lightly on a canvas
she sketches out a rose
filling it in with black
the only color she knows"

When I read this I imagine myself standing in the corner of the room looking up at all the pages, tacked, nailed and taped up all around me. I'm watching a girl, half crying, half singing, by the window, trying to capture her face in my memory, and then imagine how it looked as she drew every picture. Each time wanting to speak, wanting to tell her exactly which part of my heart she's breaking, but I never can. All I can do is watch.

This is a powerful piece...if you add more too it, please let me know...I think it's perfect just the way it is!! Thanks for the dance.

So far..excellent..but I will check back for the rest of it!! Lol..I want to know!!
