As Many As You Can

by Kevin   Sep 18, 2007

A day as a life,
or the life of a day,
the days of our lives show patterns they say.

The birth, like morning, glows anew,
we rise afresh and oh so full,
an out into our daily lives,
we stumble as we learn of knives.

Our day with us, grows ever on-wards,
it hits a peak in afternoon,
by then it's late to day be starting,
for some the day will end too soon.

Others though will push the limit,
disregarding father time,
sprint every inch in grim defiance,
and full of days run past their lines.
