Whatever It Takes

by LostLikeTearsInRain   Sep 19, 2007

My head begins to spin
My eyes begin to water
Simply because
I just saw her

Yes, the love of my life
The one I'd die for
Just walked by
And made my heart sore

She didn't look at me
She didn't even hesitate
I don't know why
I deserve such a fate

He holds her hand
He shoots me a glare
As far as that goes
I don't really care

To her with him
Makes my world a shade of gray
And leaves me breathless
With nothing at all to say

So I watch the two
Walk down the hall
Disappearing out of view
As I slowly start to fall

This life is unforgiving
It punishes me for my mistakes
But I'll get her back, you'll see
Whatever it takes

Awww....very very sweet piece. I really liked it the whole way through. It's just the right length and such a good piece. Editing just a word here or there would improve the flow and make this near perfect. Hope that helps!
