Letting Life Bring You Down

by Brooke   Sep 19, 2007

Sitting in her bed, with her sheets pulled over her face
Thinking that anyone who stared into her blue eyes
Would consider her a disgrace
The quiet calmed her hours of crying
Consumed in the thought that she had given up on trying
The world had turned their backs on her
Her life in the past had been only a blur
Where was she to turn to now
When everyone had given up on her somehow
Why should she even care
When nobody gave a sh*t if she was even there
The only thing to do now was to look for someone who cared
She still stares into the void, sitting all alone saying,
"Hello, is anybody out there?"
