Lie what a word to use
This three letter word can break a heart
Make you cry all night
And rip you completely apart
I thought I had the last good guy
Until I heard his last good-bye
I gave him my all and did my best
When all boils down, they're all like the rest
Why is it when one thing goes wrong
It's like a sinking ship taking your whole life down along
Happiness as I know it has entirely departed
Leaving me here lonely and broken hearted
When I think about the times we have shared
I question myself was there a time he honestly cared?
My face turns red from the shame
I can't believe he played me like a game
Doesn't he know that skin is just skin
And the things he said do hurt no matter how hard I pretend
Tears are tears and they fall fast from my bright blue eyes
Makes me think all the pain in this world most likely started from lies.
Lies created and thought up so cunningly
This three letter word affects everyone even me.
