Graveyard

Graveyard

Sorrowful songs plays
on the everlasting yard
Trees moan, Clouds cry
Sadness over the graveyard

Forgotten wooden caskets
Buried in the wet sand
Hear Shallow prayers
hoping for a peaceful land

Souls tired of walking
wanting to rest their bones
Seeking for some place
a spot to be their home

Great write! loved this one from beginning to end. It almost felt as if I was there, which is something i love. The second stanza is my favourite here, but overall the poem is good.
I just secretly wish it could have been a little bit longer.

Beautifully written, you expressed emotions excellently and described pain and sadness on a great way. Wording is also great and whole piece has some interesting rhythm. Well done!

    Hey,
I think its an awesome poem, that not many words can describe such a story, the flow it good as well as the rhyming, The only thing I don't really like is the title. I think that the title is to 'simple' compared to the rest of the poem. 5/5
