The Sandman's Tenor.

by ghosts in bloom   Sep 19, 2007

I hear the cadence of my moon's sweet song
That lulls me to sleep with the language of
Cerulean princes whose flesh has gone
To cambric patches fixed aptly above.

Listen. Crickets! They
Seep into the earth's pale skin.
Even as their intelligence allows,
They wail.

O'er the blanket of strong falsetto conflict,
I hear the cadence of my moon's sweet song.
