Why daddy?

by NaomiNeglected   Sep 19, 2007

You brought me to this world.
You say I'm your little angel.
You were my hero, my shoulder, the highest place on earth.
But then I became an age.
I Begain to grow.
I was no longer your little angel.
I was not like every one else.
You treat me like dirt and expect me to love you in return.
I hurt daddy. Inside and out.
I'm meant to be your little girl.
I ask you over and over. Why daddy? Why?
You lay into me, one fist after the other.
Why daddy? What did i do wrong?
Daddy it hurts. Please daddy why wont you stop?
It hurts daddy. It really hurts.
I'm bruised.
I'm bleeding.
I'm hurt.
I'm heartbroken.
I'm scared.
I'm worried.
Please daddy no more.
Please daddy. Please stop.
Now I lie here.
Six foot under ground.
But my last wish is for you to tell me, why daddy?
I hope you hurt daddy.
I hope you know the pain you caused.
I hope you know how much hurt you put me threw.
I hope you know how much hatred you gave me.
I still hurt daddy i hope you do to.

This poem, its so well written, such a sad topic and yet expressed so well, i totally get where your coming from with this, i think alot of little daddy's girls could relate to this, maybe not the physical harm but thats could be said to be a physical metaphor for the emotional pain some feel. so emotional and deep. love it! loved reading it!
