Teardrop Teardrop

Teardrop teardrop
can we ever make the pain stop

Teardrop teardrop
a flower bloomed in concrete
black and Grey rainbows
our hopeless romantic heartbeat
you were born in a garden where pain grows
little delightful depressions
you bathed in a fountain of oppression

Teardrop teardrop
we met, and for a second the rain stopped
the mermaid shed her lonely smiles
as your broken eyes searched for miles and miles
and you wrote about the wolf man's cry
but so scared you'd always wonder why
treacherous tears of misfortune
your bittersweet grin
angels smiled when we met that noon
a blessing within each our sin
and fate witnessed it's twist
this twist as stars shinned and demons hissed
upon that day I met you; teardrop I missed

Teardrop teardrop
we for a moment made the pain stop.
