Lost life, Never new

by The Sky is Falling   Sep 19, 2007

Clean my hands of this fate,
This worn out body can't wait.
I gave everything up for you,
And now I have nothing to loose.

I was so attached to you,
You told me you didn't love me.
MY heart instantly went to goo.
The pain was times three.

Icyness lept into my lungs,
My tears turned red as blood.
Bitter taste wouldn't leave my tongue,
Felt like my battered body had been thrown in a flood.

I instantly gave up on life,
Had nothing else better to do.
Found a silver knife,
Stared down at it knowing what to do.

Pain lashed threw my gut,
Body shutters, eyes flutter shut.
The agony is gone,
This is now done.

Hey, nice poem by the way.
There was really just 1 thing that kind of ruined it for me. One was the word "goo". Sorry, the word just makes me laugh, so it killed the mood of the poem. I liked it though. :]

Awwww.. this poem was so sad. My eyes got watery as I read it! I can really connect to it and it's just so sad to have to go through all of that and not wanting to breathe anymore. Keep up the awesome job Sky! 5/5 <3 <3 <3
