I Don't Want to be the Only Lonely One

by .K.i.T.t.Y.   Sep 19, 2007

I watch you fade into the distance,
While I am here teary eyed,
and heartbroken.

I know I shouldn't be this way,
You will return soon.

Yet in my heart,
I hold a fear
Of losing you forever,
Without you I may not last.

The thought of someone else
Stealing your heart,
Brings me pain,
And loneliness.

I miss you too much,
Please come home lonesome,
Needing someone to hold,
So then I'll know I'm not the only one.

----

another old one.

This is a really nice poem. No one ever wants to be alone, and it is always sad when you are. Anyway this is a great poem. The wording and flow were wonderful. 5/5

The structure in this piece is nice. It had a musicality to it I really liked. Raw and full
of emotion. I enjoy how you did the ending.
A unique piece, well worth another read!

Nice write, although not really a rhyming poem, it was still very good and flowed well. Great work, keep it up.
