A longful year has passed
Since she had to die
She left us all in confusion
And left us wondering why

Why did she have to leave us
On that cold winter night
We like to believe that heaven's angels
Had her locked in sight

The whispered "Come with me
For your time has finally come
Your life has been long-lived
And you have earned some fun

Although loved ones will miss you
They will understand
Don't be afraid to come with me
Just simply take my hand

There are people up there waiting
Who have missed you for some time
I promise if you come with me
Things will be just fine"

She took their hands and flew away
Hoping that we'd realize
That she is watching over us
Deep into the skies

To the ones who hold her dearly
And so close to their hearts
She's now in heaven with the ones she loved
When god first made them part
