Nobodys Home

Walking the streets all alone
Nobody to talk to, nobody’s home
Cannot find peace, in this world of hate
Cannot find love, it is left up to fate

The rain starts falling, the sky turning black
The path disappearing, could break ones back
But that does not matter, nobody knows
My heart is here waiting, wilting like a rose

The thorns scratching in, the scars turning red
The blood seeping out, just like everyone had said
I knew it would break, if given the chance
You could see the holes, given a glance

I knew you would hurt me I knew you were wrong,
I knew I would hate you, for so so long
Walking the streets all alone
Nobody to talk to, nobody’s home

Yep, that's just about perfect! It was well put. I wish the ending was a little more conclusive...I think the anger could have built up more, but what you did write spoke straight to my heart and feelings. It was really, really good. I enjoyed the last two stanzas the best. You just totally summed up the pain and hurt felt. Amazing!
