J.E.M.

by allison   Sep 20, 2007

I first stained my wrist, to begin with this J,
when I knew he was Him and with him I would stay.
He in my life, forever he’ll be,
until this J fades off of me.
I stained my wrist on that day with an E,
on the day he decided to get down on one knee.
A ring to pair with my J and my E,
Permanence shows how committed we’ll be.
I then stained my wrist for the very last time,
On the day his last name had now become mine.
An M would complete the initials which prove,
love in my heart that cannot be removed.
