Losing IT

by Spirit   Sep 20, 2007

You've taken my whole heart
and smashed it into bits.
You've made my mind a living hell
and now I'm losing it.

You said you'd love me so much more
than there were stars up in the sky
You said you'd always be there
Now I Know that twas a lie

You left me for someone else
without telling me to my face
my answering machine told me
so that's the feeling of disgrace.

Now I'm falling apart,
because you weren't man enough.
You stabbed me in the back
and said, "Oh! life is tough."

Now that I am losing it,
people will wonder how,
you'd leave me, after two long years.
I'd like that answer now!

For when my world is done
falling apart at the seams.
I will get on with my life,
and start planning all my schemes.

You know that I'll get back at you,
cause you ruined my life's path,
but you've never before felt,
the power of a woman's wrath.

Hell yeah! you'll show him! haha I absolutely loved this! I mean, not the part about him leaving you, but the revenge part.
"Hell hath no fury like a womans scorn"

Oh I love the ending! Just beautiful.

This was so sad to read and yet so wonderfully written, it was like -I- was feeling all of the emotion and pain you described in here.

As I was reading I was thinking how many people will be able to relate? I bet it's a hell of a lot who can.

Flow was perfect throughout and I found the whole piece to be incredibly moving and written with such beauty and grace.

A deep poem filled with emotions of anger and frustration. I am really feeling your rage in this poem. The rhyming and choosing of words fit perfectly. Well done 5/5

The emotion portrayed within this piece was quite deep to tell you the truth. I'm sure many people can relate to this. You expressed yourself deeply into each line and wrote straight from the heart which I could tell you did so from the feelings I felt flowing nicely from each word. The anger was raging and showed that love also comes with not only sadness but anger. Overall a great read. Well done. ~Mel
