Better day

by Vanessa Ann   Sep 20, 2007

Looks of perfection on the outside
pain and sorrow on the inside
trying to figure out why shes living any more
she sits on her bed praying for a better day
a day were all the pain would just go away
and everyone would just love her again
sorry for what happened
but cant keep saying sorry
trying to make it though another day
without cutting up her wrists
but some days she cant control her emotions
n other days she just wants to die
shes just hoping for a better day

Another bittersweet outpouring. I liked the use of third person viewpoint enabling the reader to imagine the scene as though looking through a window.
