How are you?
NO answer.
They shine the flashlight in her eyes
She doesn't move
She doesn't even know they're there
The life drained from her face,
pale skin, marked my death
she'd never answer
They shine the flashlight in her eyes again
Stupid
They are stupid
she has already let go
and they are standing
asking questions to her blank stare
Are you okay?
No reply
Answer me!
They shine the flashlight in her eyes
once more in vain
they ask
How are you?

    I think that sometimes once people have given up all hope for themselves you enter this whole new world of hopelessness that you cant escape. I liked this poem, it was different with the idea of it and I liked the title.
