Truth in the Bathroom

by NICOLE   Sep 20, 2007

Distorted
Shaky image
Confusing
Should I believe it?
I stand in the mirror
it tells me lies
and I believe them
sometimes
The bathroom
is my nemeses
and my friend
I'm always there
In front of the mirror
and the white death machine
Trying to change what I see
They say "It's distorted"
But all I see is real
and I have to change it
I hate what stares back at me
So I stand in the mirror
and I listen to the lies
Trying to find truth in the bathroom
