Seven Year Itch

Slippers
Once fluffy, new
Now threadbare, old
Comfortable
Replacable?
Temptation, rife
Sentimentality, strong
Perhaps I should choose shoes
Shiny, slinky, sexy
Would it be unfaithful
To try a pair for size?

I didnt really get the point of this poem. you wanted to get a new pair of shoes, but you were worried that your old ones wouldnt like it.

Is the point supposed to be to consider the feelings of other people, if it is then i get it.

    Rofl! This is too cute.
I absolutly love how you think about the slippers feeling's, almost like your feet would be cheating on them by trying on a pair of new shoes:P

    This was quite unique,
    Keep it up,
    --Elly.
