Fairy Tales Aren't Lies.

by Teria   Sep 21, 2007

Fairy Tales Aren't Lies.

Fairy dust created for wishing, granted be the name
Tales aren't for telling, but for creating our fame.
Aren't we suppose to live this life as our dream?
Lies become more than what reality may seem...

They're dreams that haunt our memories,
Just forbidding everything happiness may increase.
Life is not what we thought it'd be, just depression
Minus the nightmares we have suddendly let set in.

The things we treasure most, return to ruin fate
Bad thoughts become reality each month, each year, each date.
Stuff is not but stuff, worldly posessions that tend to make us tough..
Fairy Tales aren't lies.. they're just life minus the bad stuff.

    Excellent!

Nicely done, i love your ideas and words you choose..their good enough to describe what you feel. And the way to rhyme each and every lines were great..I enjoyed it very well.

    keep it up!

Glad you enjoyed my quote that much! lol Yepper, that one was mine. But I think in that contest there can only be one poet per quote, and that one was already taken. but hey...I ain't the judge and I'm flattered that TWO people chose it. Thanks a ton, nice job!
