You gave me encouragement
when I was full of doubt.
You showed me light
when the light was dim,
You saw through me
and looked within.
You opened up to me
when I felt I was alone,
You gave me a friend
when I thought I was on my own.
You made things better
when I thought I was done,
When I didn't know where to go,
And wanted to run.
