The world came crushing down on me;
Tears were running down my face.
I looked back-- shattered memories are left,
My heart has completely fallen from grace.

Deep wounds have already healed--
But scars remain seen.
Tears still keep falling every night--
When I think about all the might-have-beens.

Thoughts of you && me play in my mind--
Like a black && white movie without a sound.
We're in a paradise of contentment,
Then I opened my eyes && I'm back to my bound.

This place has kept me undiscovered;
My broken heart became so shallow.
Got no one to talk to-- no one to lean on.
So I cry all alone on my wet pillow.

Call me stupid for still holding on,
You've given me my heart back-- I just don't know when.
Even if it is badly damaged--
Je ne regrette rien.
