Tissue Box

by goddess-glamourpuss   Sep 21, 2007

You reach for me
I am here
Silently I absorb
each salty orb
Soaking up your pain
misery
anguish

Each time you pluck
I give of myself
unreservedly

I am torn to pieces
wrung between your fingers
into an emotional ball
Once your are sated
unburdened
refreshed
I am left crumpled
disposable

You will return once more
Taking from me freely
Often do I wonder
what you will do
when the box is empty

Good job writing a sad poem from a different perspective... and your vocab is great
but the structure threw off the flow for me, it sorta seems like you just chose to start new lines at random...
altogether this was a good read, good job!
