A Blue Sky Future

I see blue sky's...
I see green grass...
I see me runnin through a never ending path.
I see no war ...
I hear no cries...
I see children smiling to a new, happy and peaceful world.
I feel warmth...
I feel safety...
I know love is by my side.
I know hope...
I know no fear...
For my future is graceful, beautiful and very bright.
I close my eyes one last time...
To see visions of old dolls and toys, old friends and people, Things I've said goodbye to.
Yet, I don't fear the future to come, I don't fear the loss of these.
My heart is open for a blue sky future.

    I love it!

    I really love how it flowed well, and it sounded so peacefully sweet. The idea of a bright future is great! I love the title as well, it helps set the mood. =) great write!

    This poem is so positive, you managed to create special and truly beautiful tone. Ending is very effective and I like the title too. It is really inspirational piece. I don't like repetition of the words - I see- I know- and -I hear- but all in all this poem is great. It also has excellent rhythm, simple but powerful.
