Painting Kisses

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Sep 21, 2007

You're not here,
But here I am
Holding out my heart
But reaching for your hand

I'll fall alseep
With the comfort of my tears
Each day without you
Feels like a hundred years

So I'll be painting kisses
On your picture tonight
I'll smother your photos
'Till you're back in my sight

Because I need you
But you need to be away
And three little words
I'm counting on you to say

Baby, I miss you
More than words right now
But I think I know the way
That I'll get through it all somehow

Because, with you
My world just seems right
That's why I'll be painting kisses
On your picture tonight
