Bloody Scars&Mascara Stains

Bloody scars
& mascara stains
My heart is shattered
I'm filled with pain

I stare out this window
Rain pours down
I'm raging inside
But I don't make a sound

Thunder rolls
As lightning strikes
I'm holding back
Knowing nothing will be alright

I cry at night
When I'm all alone
Grasping for dreams
That left long ago

Nightmares war
Inside my mind
Reminding me of when
Everyone left me behind

After getting back up
I get knocked back down
I've took it all in
& been pushed around

But enough is enough
I can bend until I break
But I've reached my limit
I've took all I can take

Mascara scars
& bloody stains
Finally at rest
My body lays
