You Need A Therapist

by AmberSherrellxxIve Been Sitting Here Trying To Find Myselfxx   Sep 21, 2007

Pop the pills
Swallow the liquor
Slit your wrists
The pain will go quicker

Bottles of OTC
Bottles of rum
Razors&knives
This is what you've become

Numb inside
No more emotion
But when people find out
There will be a comotion

When they find out
The real you comes out
You'll want to scream
But you won't dare shout

They'll take you to therapists
Thinking it'll work
But they have no idea
They're only making it worse

"How do you feel?"
How do you think?
Come on it's common sense
Give me a break

Get off my back
I don't have a problem
And if I did
You couldn't solve 'em

This is my issue
Now leave me alone
I don't want you're help
Because there's nothing wrong

I'm not suicidal
I don't want to die
I just want you to leave me alone
And stop filling me with lies

"You need a therapist."
Get over yourself
I can help myself
I don't need you're help

This piece wasn't too bad to me although the topic was cliche you pulled it off pretty well. The flow was great almost chant like although in some places it wasn't as smoothe. The story behind it to do with the therapist was quite unusal and different so I really did like that. Your word choice simple yet effective.. Overall I guess i'll give you a 5 i'm in a generous mood at the moment. Well done. ~Mel
