Broken friendship

by Indian Comma Bean   Sep 22, 2007

I sit here
I think here
I ponder your words.
What did you mean

What did you want

I walked out the door
To take a short walk,
A gentle breeze
caressed my mind.

I wondered
how Autumn looks
to you, because
I can only compare it to,

Your beauty.

Your voice rings
through my mind.
I cannot focus
I cannot lie.

To sit is to rest,
without you,
I'm restless.
But why...

You said it was
for the best..
I only wished that
you would hear me out.

You were elegant,
outgoing,
just what I'm not.
I'll miss that.

I will not cry,
But i will tell you this,
I'd only wish that you
had not lied.

The true reason of to
why you left me,
would not have angered me,
It would better me.

I only wish you knew
I only wish you cared.
Now I'm broken
Now I'm depressing.

If I'm no good
then forget the rest.
The world is a contest,
I have collapsed.

There is no medal
or ribbon in the end.
Just your ignorance
along with the rest.

I wish you well
I bid you good luck.
For i still care for you
Though you do not care.

Farewell my friend...
